Reduce, Reuse & Recycle - Bangle holder???

I love versatility. Versatility incorporates all the elements of the 3R principle.

I have no idea what life this peculiar item use to hold nor did the darling volley ladies at the bric-a-brac store but it did catch my eye and now with new found meaning, it has a new home.

$3 to St Johns Anglicare op-shop and a new bangle holder to me… a win all round!

  1. love it! because every girl needs a bangle holder.

wonder if it was a medical-type object in a previous life?

  6. My sisters and I owned several of these - to have our porcelain dolls standing up.. Not sure of that was the intended purpose but I have a sneaking feeling it may have been. Glad to see they're so versatile!

  7. if only we can figure out how to synthesize your imagination and mass produce it.
The industrial consumer disposable society monster we find we have created produces mega tons of stuff like this that will last centuries past its initially prescribed task usefulness.
Just takes a bit of imagination like above and it saves another purchase of plastic.
Cool. Reminds me of my wife proudly dragging a cow horned gun rack out of the boot (from the church fete) and when I asked if she had plans on investing in some weaponry that I should be aware of, she giggled and said "no! its for the garden hoses in the back yard" Yep 1 hose per horn and accessories happily hanging where the .222 caliber once menacingly was.

    Keep up the imagination!
